Study Programs for Christian Education
Adult Forums - Sundays at 9:15 am. The Pastor or lay leader guides this educational discussion forum for adults. Topics have ranged from Bible 101 to understanding your personality.
Confirmation - Confirmation class is offered to 7th and 8th grade students. Holy Trinity's confirmation program teaches the basics of the Lutheran faith with emphasis on Luther's Small Catechism. Classes are very interactive and attempt to relate church teachings to daily life. Teaching activities are mixed with social and service activities to make the programs both fun and helpful. This is a two year program which meets twice a month during the school year starting in the fall. Students may enter in the second year if in 8th grade.
Men's Breakfast - Small group meeting the second Saturday of each month to do directed book study along with a hearty breakfast and coffee. This group meet at the church hall!
Lydia's Circle - This Women of the ELCA bible study group meets once a month for lunch and a study of the Bible. It also conducts charitable activities throughout the year.
Small Group Bible Study - Small groups of adults meet to do directed bible studies with a particular theme for a set number of weeks. These groups meet at church or member's homes.
Sunday School - Classes teaching Bible basics and God's love in a fun, relaxed and encouraging manner with stories, songs, crafts and games. Classes are available for preschool to middle school ages. Classes are held on Sundays during the worship service at 10:15 am. Classes begin in September and run until June. Children may join the class anytime during the year.
